Natural Body Cleanse: Welcome To The New Detox

Making proper use of a good body cleanse will be important once one has determined that one’s body has finally began to suffer from the accumulation of environmental insults that tend to build up within anybody’s body over time. We all need to breathe, and that air is - quite frankly - dirty, which further adds to the insults our bodies’ experience. Eventually, a toxic level of substances will build up within our bodies, compromising our health.

One good way of handling this problem is to cleanse the body in a number of different all-natural ways, at least occasionally. Even just an annual cleansing can, for example, allow the body to eliminate a huge number of toxins and contaminants. Regular cleansing - even if it’s just for a single day - can build upon annual cleansing very efficiently, which should be motivation enough to convince one to do so.

However, for those still not convinced, consider that these accumulated impurities and contaminants may be linked to the development of several serious medical conditions and illnesses. Even when they’re not linked to those issues, they most certainly have been tied to the onset of malaise, fatigue and general poor health. Think about it - living in an urban area of poor air quality, for instance, certainly affects people more than they know.

Fortunately for everybody, there are a number of effective measures that can be taken to deal with such toxicity issues. As a matter of fact, a number of them are fairly simple to implement when it comes to cleansing, starting with a good toxin flush by eliminating almost every liquid except natural spring water. Once that occurs, concentrate on drinking adequate amounts of it to encourage such toxin flushing.

Generally speaking, the thing that works best when it comes to body cleansing is to use natural substances whenever possible. Also, one should sit down and go over closely what one’s diet is, with an eye towards cutting out anything that’s not organic in nature, first of all. That means getting rid of processed foods, fried foods, sugars and other elements and substances that could cause harm.

When the proper diet is applied, it actually has the affect of encouraging the body to detoxify itself. It can be helped along, as well, by the addition of certain organic juices that are mixed with clean and natural spring water to act as a serious flushing agent. Additionally, many of these juice/water mixtures act as natural laxatives that can help a body muck itself out, so to speak.

It’s good to look at cleaning out the body as if one is cleaning out a horse stable or a basement or the like. One will be getting rid of the built-up accumulation of junk and muck, in effect. The difference in humans is that their bodies begin to heal themselves as long as the cleanse is done safely and properly. So just go online and search for the substances and the diets for a good cleanse and then implement them.

For most people, at minimum, a body cleansing should be performed on a yearly basis. Some can take as little as two days while others can last for as long as a month, depending on how involved and complex the body cleanse detox are. Treat the body like a temple and engage in the practices that are needed to keep that temple clean and ready for action. When done correctly, it can actually be a fairly easy to cleanse, too, which should come as good news.

Two Reasons Why You Need A Home Water Filtration System

What should a home water filtration system do? Most of us are connected to a public treatment facility, so why do we need to worry? Read on. Go to purifier for more information.

There is only so much that a public water filtration system can do. They protect us from diseases like typhoid. They remove mud, dirt, raw sewage and other more offensive things like dead animals that fall into reservoirs and lakes. They remove heavy metals, rocks and a lot of minerals. They test the water to make sure that the level of contaminants is not, or should not be, toxic. But, there are problems with the public water filtration system that can only be solved by a “point of use” or “in the home” unit.

First, most of them use chemicals to kill bacteria and to provide disinfection. Chlorine is most common, but others may be used. The chemical disinfection process releases by-products that are hazardous to a person’s health. In the case of chlorine, the by-products are referred to as THMs. They are known carcinogens. That means they cause cancer.

Environmental Protection Agency standards limit the THM content or total trihalomethanes to 80 parts per billion. Beyond that level, THMs are considered toxic and can cause nerve damage and other health conditions. You see, the public water filtration system cannot remove the by-products. They can only test the water to see if their level is too high.

That brings us to the second problem. Just because something is tested by our public officials doesn’t always mean that things are good. You might be thinking, “okay, so since they test before sending it out, then we’re safe without a home water filtration system, right?” Refer to Water Purifiers for more information.

Well, the “safe” level does not take several things into account. One is that the toxic level is for an adult that weights 175 pounds, so if you weigh less, there is a greater threat. Two, while most facilities are surely doing their job correctly, there have been reports of inaccurately reporting the test results in order to pass. Three, the test is performed before the water enters the pipes that lead to your home, so the concentration of the by products could be higher by the time it reaches you.

Scary? particularly if you have kids, there is no way that you can go without a good point of use water filtration system that removes chlorine and blocks THMs. But, you have to shop carefully, because some are advertised as purifiers, when all that they do is block chlorine and odor. There would be no protection from THMs in that case.

When you look for a water filtration system, you should ask for performance certifications and other industry standards. Certifications are not mandatory, but the better companies have them done. They should also have a data sheet that lists THMs and other pollutants, such as VOCs and cysts. Pesticides and herbicides should be listed, as well, but you may not recognize the names. Benzene and lindane are the most common in the United States. The best value for your money is one that removes everything. There are only a few that do the whole job.

Hopefully, this has helped you understand what an in-home water filtration system should do and why you need one. Happy shopping! Visit Water Filters for further information.
