The 29 alphabets include 26 from English and 3 extra vowels – æ, ø and å. The spoken and written languages differ from each other since Danish has strict guidelines for written language. Several dialects of the language are spoken within Denmark, making it sometimes difficult for people from one island to communicate with people from other islands.

Denmark nowadays has a good demand for people conversant with Danish, including skills on English. Learning Danish can help you earn your daily needs. Knowing Danish can help you get a job as a translator or Danish tutor. There are many online courses available on the internet but if you can keep a tutor, it will be easier as your will get somebody to talk to in Danish.
